Someone created a deal with your share in it. Here is how to sign it and get paid — about ten minutes, the first time.
A wallet is a free app that holds your money and signs for you. We recommend MetaMask: install it, create your wallet, and you're set.
It gives you a recovery phrase — twelve words. Write them on paper and keep them offline. They are the only way back into your wallet, and nobody else should ever see them.
In your wallet, copy your address — it starts with 0x. Send it to the person creating the deal. Your share will be paid to that address.
Open the link you received and connect your wallet. You see the whole deal: the total and every share. If your amount is right, click Approve my share and confirm.
Signing is free — no fee, no network cost. If something is wrong, don't sign: ask the creator to cancel the deal and create a new one.
Once every party has signed, the client pays once and your share lands in your wallet — at the same moment as everyone else's.
Want an email when it happens? Verify your email in your profile in the app.
Once the deal is paid, download the payment record from the deal page: the deal, each share, the time it landed and a reference anyone can verify. The same document for every party.
Your share arrives in ETH. Keep it, or send it to the app or exchange you already use — Coinbase, Revolut and others — and convert it to dollars there.
What parties ask before their first deal. Can't find your answer? We reply fast.
Still unsure? Talk to a real personYes. Signing is a signature, not a transaction: no fee and no network cost. Your wallet only asks you to confirm.
How a deal worksDon't sign. Ask the person who created the deal to cancel it and create a new one with the right amount. A deal can't be edited, and it can't be paid until every party has signed.
How a deal worksThe moment the client pays — which can only happen once every party has signed. Every share lands in the same second.
How a deal worksETH, straight to their own wallet, the moment the client pays. Each party can keep it or convert it to dollars through the app or exchange they already use.
Wallets and fundingYes, any Ethereum wallet you control works. We recommend a wallet like MetaMask rather than an exchange deposit address.
How a deal worksNobody — Shaka included — can recover a wallet or move its funds. That's what keeps it safe. Keep your recovery phrase on paper, offline, and never share it.
Why it's finalSet up the deal in two minutes. Every party signs their share, your client pays once, and everyone is paid the same day — with a receipt for each.
