Who is behind Shaka?

Shaka LLC, based in Wilmington, Delaware. Shaka is built by Kooky.

The story behind Shaka
Is Shaka available in my country?

Yes. Shaka works anywhere and for any kind of deal — you simply follow the rules of your own country.

How a deal works
Is there a minimum or maximum deal amount?

No. The same contract routes a small invoice or a large property sale, with no minimum and no maximum.

Fee and price calculator
How many parties can a deal have?

Up to 20 recipients per deal. Most deals have two to five.

How a deal works
Can I cancel or change a deal?

The creator can cancel a deal at any time until it's paid, at no cost. To change a deal, cancel it and create a new one.

How a deal works
Can I pay in USDC or another stablecoin?

Not today. Shaka routes ETH, the native currency of Ethereum.

Paying a deal
Can Shaka change the fee or the rules?

No. The fee and every rule are written in the contract, and nobody can change it — Shaka included.

Built on Ethereum
What happens to my deals if Shaka stops?

They keep working. The contract has no owner and runs on Ethereum on its own, whatever happens to the company.

Can I read the contract?

Yes. The contract is verified on Etherscan: anyone can read its code and every deal it has routed.

Contract details
Do I get a receipt?

Yes. Once a deal is paid, every party can download a payment record: the deal, each share, the time it landed and a reference anyone can verify.
