Privacy Policy

Shaka does not know who you are. We built it that way on purpose. This Privacy Policy explains what minimal data we may collect, why, and how we handle it. The short version: almost nothing, kept for as short a time as possible.

• Your name, address, or any personally identifiable information
• Government-issued ID or KYC documents — ever
• Email address or phone number (unless you choose to give us one — see below)
• Financial information beyond what is publicly visible on the blockchain
• Precise location data
• Behavioral tracking or advertising profiles

When you use the Shaka interface at shaka.deal, we may collect:

• Wallet addresses — publicly visible on the blockchain, not linked to any identity on our end. Referral commissions route on-chain to the wallet set as referrer when the deal is created — there is no sign-up or registration step, so we never hold this data off-chain either.
• Basic technical data — minimal information required for the interface to operate securely. Not sold, not used for advertising.
• Notification email — only if you choose to receive deal notifications. Used solely to send them, and deleted on request.
• Country and state — asked in your profile, pre-filled from your connection so you can correct it. Used to set your display currency and, in aggregate only, to show where Shaka is used. Never your address or precise location.
• Contact messages — only if you voluntarily reach out. Used solely to respond to your inquiry, and deleted as soon as it is resolved, or immediately on request.

Shaka runs on Cloudflare, and notification emails are sent through a third-party email provider. They process this data only to deliver the service, never for their own purposes.

We keep only what you choose to give us — a notification email, your country and state, a contact message — and only for as long as it is needed. A contact message is deleted once your enquiry is resolved; anything you gave us is deleted immediately if you ask us to. We have no interest in holding your data, and we don't.

All deal transactions are recorded permanently on public blockchains. This data is publicly accessible and cannot be deleted — it is inherent to the nature of blockchain technology. Shaka LLC has no ability to delete or modify this data. Nobody does.

Shaka uses only essential cookies required for the interface to function. No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels. Any audience measurement is cookieless and aggregated — no profile of you is ever built.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Given the minimal data we collect, this applies to your notification email, your country and state, or a contact message — all deleted on request and, in any case, as soon as they are no longer needed.
