Shaka and Freename today announced a partnership bringing .shaka onchain — a top-level domain that resolves natively as a payment address on Shaka, Ethereum’s onchain payment router for professionals who close deals.

The partnership makes .shaka the flagship example of a broader integration: every Freename-issued namespace now resolves directly inside Shaka’s payment router, letting anyone type a name instead of a 42-character wallet address.

What This Means

Until now, getting paid onchain meant sharing a wallet address — long, easy to mistype, impossible to remember. With this partnership, a .shaka name resolves directly to the wallet behind it, the moment a deal is created.
